Planum Terms of Use

Version 2 · 20 October 2026

1. Who we are and these terms

Planum is provided by Polat Ülgey ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between us and you, the person or business that creates or uses a Planum account ("you"). By creating an account or using Planum you accept them. If you accept for a business, you confirm you may bind it. Planum is offered for business use only, not to consumers. Contact: ulgeypolat@gmail.com.

2. Your right to use Planum

While your account is approved and your subscription (if any) is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Planum through its website, for your own internal business purposes. Everything else is reserved. Planum's software, code, designs, data sets, libraries, templates, indexes, benchmarks and documentation ("the Service Materials") belong to us or our licensors, and you receive no ownership of them.

3. What you must not do

Except to the extent the law allows you to despite this clause, you must not, and must not help or allow anyone else to:

  1. copy, download, save, store or keep any part of Planum's software or Service Materials outside normal use of the website, including saving pages or scripts for use away from the website;
  2. decompile, de-minify, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise try to obtain Planum's source code, logic, algorithms or data;
  3. use Planum, its outputs or the Service Materials — directly or through an automated tool, script or artificial intelligence system — to build, train, design or improve a product or service that is similar to or competes with Planum;
  4. feed Planum's code, pages, screenshots, interface descriptions or Service Materials into an artificial intelligence system for that purpose, or ask such a system to reproduce Planum;
  5. use robots, scrapers or other automated means to access or extract Planum, except the published APIs as documented;
  6. share, sell, rent or sublicense your access, or let anyone use your account;
  7. remove or alter any copyright or ownership notice; or
  8. use Planum unlawfully, or try to break or bypass its security, access controls or usage limits.

4. Your data

Files and information you put into Planum ("Your Data") remain yours. You give us the right to host, process and display Your Data only to provide Planum to you and to the people you share a project with. You are responsible for having the right to upload Your Data. You can export Your Data while your account is active. After your account ends we may delete Your Data after 30 days.

5. Outputs, reference data and disclaimers

  1. Planum's calculations, analyses, drafts and suggestions (for example schedules, delay analyses, cost plans and contract checks) are tools to support your own professional judgement. They are not legal, financial, fire engineering or other professional advice.
  2. Benchmarks, rates, factors, durations, exchange rates and other reference data come from published sources, from our own models and from your organisation's defaults. They are indicative only and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong for your project.
  3. Where Planum reads your documents by keyword matching, optical character recognition or an artificial intelligence model, it can misread, misclassify or leave things out.
  4. Checking and verifying every output against its sources, your contract and your project before you rely on it, issue it or send it is your responsibility. We do not show these warnings again in each module; the disclaimers in Schedule 1 form part of these terms and apply wherever the module is used.

6. When your access ends

You may stop using Planum at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your subscription ends, or on reasonable notice. When your access ends, your right to use Planum ends and you must delete any copy of Planum's software or Service Materials you hold, including copies saved locally and anything produced in breach of clause 3. On request you will confirm in writing that you have done so.

7. Liability

Planum is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied terms and are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. We will tell you about important changes, and the version and date at the top will change. If you keep using Planum after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.

9. Law and courts

These terms, and any dispute about them or about Planum, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Schedule 1 — Disclaimers by module

These apply in addition to clause 5. Exported documents (Word, Excel and printed copies) may repeat them for readers who have not accepted these terms.

Requirements
The areas, rates, costs, exchange rates and durations come from published sources, from our own models and from your organisation's defaults. They are indicative only and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong for your project. Checking and verifying every figure before you rely on it is your responsibility.
Project Brief
The summaries, categories and figures come from your documents as read by keyword matching or an AI model, from other modules' estimates (Requirements) and from your organisation's defaults. A model can misread or leave things out, and the estimates are indicative only. Checking every heading against the source documents before the brief is relied on is your responsibility.
Business Case
Figures and drafted text taken from Requirements, and any organisation standard wording, come from published sources, our own models and your organisation's defaults. They are indicative only and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong for the project. Checking and verifying everything before the business case is relied on is your responsibility.
Claims — contract wording and notice periods
The notice periods, clause references and terms on the Contract tab are Planum's defaults for the form of contract, not advice and not a reading of your executed contract. Particular Conditions, Z clauses and bespoke amendments often change notice periods. Check every field against the contract you signed.
Claims — letters and notices
Letters and notices are templates filled from the project's records, not legal advice. Have each one checked against your executed contract before it is sent.
Contracts — clause risk review
The review states what the contract text says and where. Suggested ratings are a pattern's reading; the rating is the reviewer's. A clause worded in a way the patterns do not recognise is listed as a gap, not as an absent risk. It is not legal advice.
Fire Safety
The module is a register and a set of flags, not fire engineering or legal advice; its document lists are a condensed reading of the regulations and guidance, not a substitute for them. The fire engineer and the building control body decide.
Schedule Reader — weather
Weather readings come from public station records where published and are otherwise modelled. They are indicative only and are not contract evidence.
